Hi I'm Katie! I am the human behind North Tails - a pet care service created for the dog-obsessed and cat- loving folks out there! Whether your dog needs a tennis ball throwing , or your cat demands royal attention , I'm here to deliver tail wags and purrs all around! I do also look after small animals such as rabbits, hamsters,if you are unsure if I offer my services to your pet please get in touch to ask and I will be happy to provide you with a quote.

I have experience in walking dogs of all kinds of breeds and sizes , playing long games of fetch , armed with plenty of  treats. I love that every dog has a different personality and quirks which make them unique.

I am fully insured , I can provide an enhanced DBS  , and I know the importance of keeping your pet safe and providing a positive experience while you are away. I like to keep pet owners updated with videos and photos of their pets and also GPS tracking for their walks so you can see where they have been and what they have been up to.

I was previously self employed doing pet care under 'Pet Care & Adventures' . I did this for 2 years up until COVID hit and the country went into lock-down, I made a very hard decision to close my business due to the uncertainty surrounding what the future held with lock-downs (at the time it felt like it was never going to end!) Since then I have done security and cleaning work, however I have come to realise that my dream was always to work with animals and decided to start back up as I missed the connection with animals and being outdoors no matter the weather. I felt like a new start meant a new name was needed, and after thinking for a while I came up with North Tails.
